Motherhood is a crazy, overwhelming, whirlwind of an experience and I wouldn’t trade a moment of it for anything else.

I have given up sleep, been pooped on and puked on, been asked to give kisses for all different levels of boo boos and ouchies.

I’ve laughed in amazement, cried in exasperation.

I’ve played “I’m gonna get you games” and explored sticks like they were the most interesting thing in the world.

I know the backpack song off of Dora better than anyone has the right to, and have a rekindled love for the Cookie monster.

I’ve given up hours I know I should be working on my business, just so I can go to the park with Linc and Pete and wouldn’t change it ever.

Being a mother has given me a new deeper understanding and appreciation for my mother  (thank you mom! You are an inspiration to me!) and for all the mom’s out there.

And all of that is just par for the course to millions of mothers out there!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing women out there who put their children and their families needs in front of their own.

Congrats to a handful of friends of mine who are celebrating their first mothers days, and first months being moms. It is amazing now, and only gets better!
