Brand Audit — Rebecca Ellison Creative

Brand Audit•For Established Experts and Operators

Your website looks fine.

So why isn’t it bringing in clients?

Because “looks fine” was never the job.

Somewhere on your site, the right people are landing, skimming for eight seconds, and leaving without realizing you’re exactly who they’ve been looking for. Your feed does its own quiet thing. Two surfaces, both leaking trust in places you can’t see.

I’ll go through your website page by page, plus the one social channel you use most, and show you exactly where your brand is leaking trust, and what to fix first. Video walkthrough, fix-first roadmap, delivered in seven days.

Sound Familiar?

You keep tweaking it.
It keeps not working.

Any of these live in your head rent‑free?

  • “I’ve rewritten my homepage six times and I still hate it.”
  • “People visit. Nobody books. I can see them in the analytics, just… leaving.”
  • “Honestly, my website could belong to anyone in my industry.”
  • “My feed looks nothing like my website. Different vibe, different voice, same me somewhere in the middle.”
  • “It doesn’t sound like me. It sounds professional. Which is somehow worse.”
  • “I post consistently and it just sits there. No saves, no shares, no DMs.”
  • “I’m a little embarrassed to send people to my site, I just point them to my Instagram.”
  • “All my clients come from referrals anyway. My website and my feed have never brought me anyone.”

The Part Nobody Tells You

Your brand is being read in two places at once. Neither one is doing the trust work.

Someone lands on your website. They’re already curious. Something referred them, or they searched and found you. Now they’re scanning, fast: who is this, why should I trust them, is this actually the right person for what I need.

Then they check your feed. Same question, second angle. And if the two surfaces aren’t telling the same story, the trust build stalls. Not dramatically. Quietly. They close the tab and forget you existed.

Your best clients aren’t passing because your website is ugly or your feed is small. They’re passing because both surfaces are answering different questions, and neither one is answering the one that matters.

That’s what this audit uncovers. Not typos or font choices. The specific places your brand is leaking trust across the two surfaces you already have live. More on what a personal brand actually is →

What I’m Looking For

Every page and every post gets checked against the 4 Trust Checkpoints.

Trust

01Built vs. Lost

Where does someone start to believe you, and where do they stall?

Trust doesn’t get built in one moment. It compounds across your site and your feed, headline by headline, post by post. And it drops the same way. This is the map of where trust is building for you and where it’s quietly bleeding out.

Clarity

02Vague vs. Specific

Would a stranger know what you actually do?

Most experts hide their specifics behind professional language. “Transformational coaching.” “Aligned strategy.” True, empty, interchangeable. This is where your message goes fuzzy, and where it needs to get specific.

Distinction

03You vs. Everyone Else

Where do you sound like everyone else in your lane?

Your differentiator either shows up on the page and in the feed, or it doesn’t exist. This is where your work is currently interchangeable with the next expert or operator one scroll down.

Presence

04Showing Up As You

Are you actually in your own brand, or hiding behind “professional”?

Trust is built by people. Not credentials. Not frameworks. Not the polished version of yourself. This is where you’re showing up, where you’re not, and whether the person on the site matches the person on the feed.

If your website and your feed miss any of the four, no amount of traffic, SEO, or redesigning will change your inquiries.

That’s not opinion. That’s the pattern across every audit I’ve done.

The Deliverables

Finally see how strangers experience your brand, and know exactly what to fix first.

01Video Walkthrough

A full video walkthrough.

Me, going through your website page by page and your social channel post by post, through your best client’s eyes. Where I’d stop reading. Where I got lost. Where you disappeared. Where trust built. Where it dropped. You will not un-see it, in the best way.

02Fix-First Roadmap

A written fix-first roadmap.

Every gap I found, prioritized across both surfaces. Fix this first, then this, here’s why. Specific enough to hand to a copywriter, a VA, or your AI. No vague “add more personality” notes.

The Process

In seven days, you’ll know where you’re losing them.

Fit Check

Is this you?

This is for you if:

  • You’re an established expert or operator with a real business behind you
  • Most clients come from referrals, and your website has never pulled its weight
  • You’ve tweaked your copy a dozen times and can’t tell what’s wrong
  • Your website and your feed feel like two different businesses
  • You’re about to pay for a redesign, ads, or SEO and want to make sure your brand is right first

Not the right fit if:

  • You want someone to rewrite the copy for you. I show you what to say. The writing stays yours, your copywriter’s, or your AI’s
  • You’re looking for a design, tech, or SEO review
  • You don’t have a website yet (start with the free Brand Voice Workbook instead)

Your Auditor

Hi, I’m Becca.

Personal brand strategist for established experts and operators. Twenty years of figuring out why people choose one business over another. I started as a wedding photographer who got picked over cheaper competitors because of personality and message. Now I help experts get chosen for who they actually are.

I’ve looked at hundreds of websites owned by brilliant people who had somehow written themselves out of their own marketing. Finding you in there, and getting you back on the page, is my favorite thing.

FAQ

Questions You Might Have

The stuff you’d ask on a call, answered here instead.

  • No. I’m not hunting typos or polishing sentences. I’m auditing what your website and your feed say, and what they don’t. Who they speak to, why you, where the trust gaps are. Message level and brand level, not sentence level.

  • No, and that’s on purpose. You get the diagnosis and the directions. You, or your copywriter, or your AI using my notes, does the writing. You stay the voice of your business. I just make sure it’s actually your voice.

  • Please don’t. The audit is most valuable before you rebuild, so you’re not paying a designer to make the wrong brand prettier. Brand first, then design.

  • The one where you show up most, or the one you feel most stuck on. Whichever you send, that’s the one I audit. If you’re on three and can’t decide, pick the one your ideal client is most likely to check after your website.

  • Then you’ll get a shorter roadmap and we’ll both know fast. There’s no website too messy. The worse it is, the more the audit saves you.

  • Any. Squarespace, WordPress, Showit, Wix, Framer. I’m auditing the words, not the tech.

  • Free reviews are ten generic minutes and a pitch. This is a paid, prioritized, four-checkpoint diagnosis of two surfaces with no pitch attached. And if you do go deeper, the fee credits anyway.

  • Most clients implement the top items themselves within the first two weeks. That’s the point of the fix-first roadmap. If the audit reveals the gaps run deeper than your website and one social channel (usually your offers aren’t clear, your email is doing nothing, your feed and your site don’t match), the Brand Compass is the rebuild. Its opening phase is a full-ecosystem audit covering website, social, email, offers, and freebies. Your $197 credits toward it.

Stop guessing what’s wrong with your brand.
