The other two visited your site and ghosted. Not because your referrer oversold you. Because the site made them feel like you were one of five, not the one your referrer told them you were.
Your reputation should arrive before you do — and right now, it doesn't survive the click. This is 1:1 personal brand strategy for referral-grown experts whose growth has started to depend on people they've never met.
You leave with the strategy foundation and a working AI voice engine trained on you — one that writes in your voice, edits what's already there, and pushes back when new work drifts from what you're known for.
"Becca has a way to cut straight to the heart of what you need. She sees the bigger picture and gets you out of marketing overwhelm and into clarity quick. She somehow sees you better than you see yourself."
"Becca knows how to look at what you do and just make it make sense to your customer. She's so good at seeing the big picture when you're too close to your own problem and mapping out something that feels completely understandable and doable. I can't recommend her enough."
SOUND FAMILIAR?
Your business has grown because someone tells someone else you're the one to call, and that sentence does a ridiculous amount of work. The referrer explains why you're different and why you'd be the right fit before the reader ever lands on your website. When most of your clients arrive that way, your brand never has to sell you on its own.
WHAT'S CHANGEDThen something shifts. You want the business to grow past the number of people who can personally carry your name into rooms, and the things that seemed like separate marketing problems start showing up together. The website feels generic when you actually read it. You've been posting for months, some weeks more than others, and almost nothing has come back from any of it. And when you turn to ChatGPT to speed things up, what comes back sounds like every other coach on the internet.
The problem isn't your expertise. It's that your referrers have been doing the invisible work of translating that expertise for you.
If you want your name to travel past the people who already know you, that translation has to become the brand's job.
INTRODUCING
🧭Out at sea without a compass, you don't end up where you want to be. You drift, you burn energy, and you land somewhere close enough to your intended shore that no one calls it lost. A compass changes that — it sets your bearing, it brings you home, and it brings your ideal client to you.
THE FOUR STAGES
Marketing will finally actually start to work.
WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH
The one-sentence anchor for who you serve and the specific problem you solve better than anyone else in your category. A stranger could hear it and know only you could have said it.
The single perspective, opinion, or category you're prepared to own over the next twelve months. The idea your name gets attached to as it travels through search results, recommendations, and rooms you're not in.
Every story that reveals why you're different — including the ones you tell over coffee that never make it onto your website. Catalogued, prioritized, and tagged with where to use each one, so you stop staring at a blank page trying to remember what would land.
Your core message mapped against where your ideal client sits. From problem-unaware all the way to ready-to-buy, so one piece of content or one conversation can meet them wherever they land.
An AI voice engine, installed in your Claude account, loaded with your positioning, stories, voice patterns, and message map. Draft, rewrite, or paste in a page you already have and ask what to change — every output comes back 90% of the way there in your voice. And when something you feed it drifts from what you're known for, it tells you before it writes.
The channel and cadence that fit how you actually work. What to publish and where, designed to compound authority over twelve months instead of chasing reach on a random Tuesday.
Once you've rewritten your home, offer, and about pages using everything above, I audit all three and hand back exactly what to sharpen. The move that makes the difference between "I have a Compass" and "my site actually reflects it."
THE AI PART, HANDLED
Every time you open a fresh ChatGPT window, you're starting over — re-explaining who you are, re-uploading your voice, and getting back an average of everyone who's ever typed a similar prompt. That's why AI-written content sounds like the internet. Because it is the internet, averaged.
HOW COMPASS FIXES ITCompass ships you a voice engine that never forgets who you are. Your positioning, stories, voice, and message map all live inside it — so when you ask it to write, it already knows you.
YOU'RE STILL THE EDITORThe engine gets you 90% of the way there in your voice, and you go in and sharpen the last 10%. That beats starting from a blank Claude window and getting an average of the internet — it's starting from a draft that already sounds like you and finishing it.
HOW IT WORKS
You have the magic. It just needs some help being seen.
Before we meet
Share where your brand stands today, and I audit how you're actually showing up out in the wild.
2–3 hours · the heart of it
A long conversation about what your business has been so far — the clients, the stories, the parts of you that already make people trust you. This is where the gold gets mined.
60 minutes
We walk through your complete Compass together and review the marketing and visibility plan that aligns with how you actually want to show up. You walk out using it, not planning to.
Within 60 days
Once you've applied the Compass to your home, offer, and about pages, I audit all three and hand back exactly what to sharpen.
Between the Strategy Session and the Charting Call, I pull all the data — what you've shown, what you've said, and how you show up — into the Brand Compass that will keep you on track and building visibility & new business every day.
IS THIS YOU?
YOUR STRATEGIST
Brand strategist for referral-grown experts and operators.
I've been an entrepreneur since 2005. I started as a wedding photographer and I couldn't figure out why people kept choosing cheaper competitors. Then I learned that personality and messaging beat pretty photos every time. (I named my packages after Oreos while stress-eating them. Turned out the Oreos were the memorable human element people actually remembered, and they started seeking me out.)
I pivoted from wedding photography to brand photography, and that's when strategy and messaging became the constant conversation with every client I shot. After COVID I put the camera down for good and became a personal brand strategist full-time. Since then I've been figuring out one specific thing: how to see what makes someone worth referring, and how to make it visible to strangers.
The best description a client ever gave me was, "She somehow sees you better than you see yourself." That's the actual work. You bring me a pile of stories, offers, and things you're weirdly good at but have stopped noticing. I look for the thread underneath, and then I show it back to you until you can see it too.
"She somehow sees you better than you see yourself."— Krystal, client
I'm in the PNW, wrangling two kids, running on coffee and Oreos, and geeking out over the stuff that makes your marketing actually work.
WHAT CLIENTS SAY
Ron came to me with a website written by ChatGPT and a business coach who'd meant well. Polished corporate abstractions on every page. His actual origin story — the reason the business existed — buried three-quarters of the way down his About page.
Ron coaches high-achievers pivoting out of careers that look perfect on paper. The site was hiding the exact thing that made him credible: he was one of them. Investment analyst, Michigan MBA, BCG consultant, Capital One executive, and eventually the guy sitting in the big house with the big TV feeling completely dead inside. Every one of his ideal clients was carrying the same quiet belief he'd once carried, that money and meaning were an either/or trade.
Ron hadn't picked meaning over money when he left. He'd found a way to have both. That was the one thing his brand could organize around, and it did. His live site now opens with, "Your very big TV, in your very nice home. Your job does have some benefits, after all." Written by a human this time. Because Ron did.

"I worked with Rebecca to sharpen the positioning for my coaching business. She was incredibly helpful! She took me through a structured process to identify what was truly at the core of my business, then created a report that helped me understand how to put those insights into action. She's very good at asking the right questions and getting at the problem beneath the problem. I highly recommend Rebecca if you need help dialing in your brand, positioning, and messaging."

You finally present online in a way that aligns with who you are, shows your unique perspective, and gives you the clarity to know exactly what content to create for the visibility you're here for.
QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE
No. This is brand strategy — the foundation underneath whatever you write next. Once your positioning, stories, and the one thing you're prepared to own are clear, your copy (yours, a copywriter's, or an AI's) finally lands. Compass builds the foundation. More on what a personal brand actually is →
Most brand work hands you a document and leaves you to translate it alone. Compass is built with you, from what already exists inside your business, so what we land on sounds like you from day one. Nothing came from a template, which means it won't feel generic and you won't lose it in a Google Drive folder.
That usually happens when the work is done to you instead of with you. You get handed a document, you nod, and six months later you're not using it because it doesn't sound like you. Compass is different. Everything in your final Compass came from what already exists inside your business and how you already talk about your work — so you leave able to see the thread yourself, which means you can carry it forward.
No. Different scope. From the Brand Up is my 6-week group cohort focused on brand and story (See It and Say It). Compass is 1:1 and adds Show It (how your reputation travels to strangers) and Own It (how you carry it forward without me). If group energy fits, that's FTBU. If you want the deeper work built entirely around your business, this is your path.
No. The Audit is the website portion of See It, and your $197 credits fully toward Compass for 60 days. The rest of the audit (content, social, long-form, lead magnet, email) happens as part of intake, and we build directly on what the Audit found.
No. We focus on voice, story, and positioning first. If we find during the strategy session that your visuals aren't aligned with the message we're building, we'll cover what needs to shift. But visuals are the frosting on the cake. We bake first, frost second.
Once you sign up, you share your details and we do an audit. You'll have your strategy call usually within a week, and the final Compass and plan the week after that.
You apply it. You rewrite your pages, use your Compass to decide what to publish and where, and start showing up online in a way that aligns with who you are. We do the 60-day audit together and I hand back what to sharpen. Within 90 days you also get one free re-orientation call to tune how you're putting it all into practice.
No. The voice engine is one of the deliverables (a bonus layer on top of the strategy) and it installs in Claude's regular web interface. No code, no plugins. If you don't have a Claude account, I'll walk you through setting one up. That's the whole "tech" side.
Compared to another six months of word-of-mouth hoping and no control over your leads? No. $2,497 is what it costs to install a brand that works for you — one that pulls in the clients you actually want, instead of leaving you dependent on who happens to mention you at the right dinner. Priced to be within reach of an established solo operator, not just an agency budget.
Book now, or if you need to make sure, book a discovery call to figure out if Compass is the right fit for you.
