Miquela and Danny met in all places, at a retirement home. They both worked there and had initially met during a new employee fire safety tour of the building. They hung out a couple times before going starting to “casually date”, which turned into “real” dating when the L word got spoken 2 weeks into the casual affair. These two are some of the sweetest, laid back and just truly happy couple’s I’ve had the pleasure to work with.
They were married at St Anne’s Church on Queen Anne, just blocks away from their home .Keeping things local and true, also close to their work, and many of their tenants were able to come to the ceremony. Sharing in the love and joy!
We hit up the classic Queen Anne spot of Kerry Park and Parson’s garden, watching them laugh, and enjoy their wedding party. Lots of shenanigans. I loved the boys special socks as they were all crazy with fun different details, especially loving Danny’s gnome socks.
Miquela looked fabulous in her cap sleeve lace dress. One of those dresses that fits in such a beautiful way, you can’t imagine a different dress ever being a possibility. I’ve been loving seeing variations different than just the strapless dress!
Their reception was at the hall at the St. Anne’s School where we took some photos in front of the old convent, which I found out later that my own mother had actually gone to 1st grade at!
They did a fabulous job transforming the gymnasium they had rented into a beautiful wedding space, and even strung lights up and over the dance floor to make it stand out as well.
Congrats to you Miquela and Danny!
