The wedding show was this month. It’s a crazy affair of wedding vendor after wedding vendor after wedding vendor in the Qwest Field convention center. I have opted out of the wedding show for this year primarily because I like to sit down and get to know my potential clients; to spend time in figuring out if I am the best fit for them as a photographer. Don’t get me wrong, the wedding show is a great way to find vendors, especially if you are starting out and need to know who is out there and what is to be offered.
So, while I did not participate in the Seattle Wedding Show, it is a good time in my eyes to mention some of the vendors I know in town that are good people, who make great product and really want to do the best they can do for you so your wedding fits into that dream you’ve been having since you were 12 (or, lets face it, some of you its more like 6 😛 .
Venue:
Lord Hill Farms (the outdoor venue is my pick because the house you get ready in is BEAutiful :P)
DeLille Cellars (sunset ceremonies there are magical!)
The Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville (their site is a bit lacking, but check this place out, it is super cute and has endless fun photo possibilites)
The Arctic Club Hotel Downtown
and Fair Harbor Marina by Shelton, Washington. This one I might be bias to as I got married here, but it was an amazing venue and sooo worth the drive
Planners:
Holly Kate at Sweet Pea Events
Megan at Clutch Events
Nadia Ly at Creations by Ly. They are based out of Portland, but they do weddings up here too.
Photographer:
I will mention some more vendors in weeks to come.
