What Mike and Allison had to say :
“We met Becca at a tasting at our venue and it took all of 2 minutes for my fiancé and I to agree that we had found our photographer. She was friendly and engaging, put us both instantly at ease. Throughout our entire experience with Becca she was both a true professional and a friendly face each time we met. She did an amazing job with both our engagement session (such patience with us and our 3 dogs!) and our wedding. All our pictures and our album are beautiful, and our experience couldn’t have been less stressful!”
The Hall at Fauntleroy in West Seattle is one of my favorite Seattle large wedding venues. With lots of different options whether you have a large or small wedding, it’s really diverse without having to add much to it. And that was just what Allison and Mike were looking for in their venue. Big enough to hold everyone, convenient to them as well as pretty without having to add too much decor as the venue has it’s own beauty.
The Hall at Fauntleroy is a large wedding venue, which means it gives plenty of options for beautiful portraits without having to go off site which makes everyone’s day that much easier! It was a bright day, so we found shade where we could keeping everyone cool and enjoying themselves, even electing to take the bride and the groom plus groomsmen to the corner market up the street for a quick cool down beer.
Allison and Mike are the type of couple that I love working with. They are relaxed and are looking forward to getting married, but aren’t necessarily wrapped up in the craze that can get you when you are wedding planning. They knew it was going to be a fun party with the people they love and they wanted some beautiful photos to remember the day with. They trusted me that we would have a great time and give them exactly what they were looking for.
Some of my favorite photos from the day were in the Studio on the back side of the Hall. It’s a spot where not many end up seeing unless you are part of the wedding, as it acts as a staging area for getting ready and the ceremony. It’s got a pool table to keep the guys entertained, and the most amazing light coming in the windows with a beautiful red wall all which make for some amazing portraits. This is where Allison got into her dress which was also amazing. I love the trend for cap sleeved wedding dresses that I am seeing! It’s refreshing to see different options than the common strapless dress around as well.
To add to it, the Hall of Fauntleroy is run by one of my fave catering companies in town : Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes, so you know that not only is is it a great large wedding venue in Seattle, the food is going to impress as well. If you are looking for a large wedding venue for your Seattle wedding, contact Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes, and ask for Amanda. She’s amazing. Just let her know Becca sent you her way!
