A Halloween Elopement with Gothic Touches
I love when couples have their own distinct style. They are who they are and they own it, and Stefania and Cody were 100% this way.
They hired me for a fun portrait session with them and their two witnesses before their quick courthouse wedding elopement style last Halloween.
We met at Olympic Sculpture Park in the morning of Halloween for their elopement portraits, and I was blown away with first how sweet they are, and secondly by their fun gothic and yet uber stylish attire.
Stefania in her sleek black dress, purple updo and Cody looking sleek in his all black suit with some kick ass shoes.
We wondered through OSP taking photos and letting them interact and be happy together, then popped in some photos of them with their two friends who would act as their witnesses during the ceremony later that day. I loved how Stefania was in black, while her attendant was in white. Throwing out tradition 100% to be themselves and they totally rocked it!
Cody’s boutonnière and Stefania’s bouquet were are a last minute addition when on their way to the shoot, they popped into a floral store. They told the florist that they wanted a bouquet and boutonnière, and let the florist do her thing. She picked the perfect color of purple for the flowers to compliment Stefania’s hair and totally brought their look together!
