Krista and Ryan LOVE the water. They love everything about it, they love it enough that they purchased a sailboat last year and spend every moment they can on their boat on the water. It didn’t matter that neither knew a lot about sailing when they bought the boat. Nothing would keep these two from enjoying each other where they are happiest. So, when we started talking about their engagement photos, of course the first thing that pops into my mind is to get them on their sailboat and out on the water!Luckily these two are complete Northwesterners and aren’t afraid of a little cold… well a lot of cold. We met up last Friday for on a beautiful sunny Seattle day… that just happened to be FREEZING. Like there was an inch of snow on the ground at my house in Shoreline. But it was sunny and after multiple reschedules because of rain we were happy to hop on that boat and think of warm weather while capturing these two in their element. It was by far one of my favorite engagement sessions yet!
Not only are Krista and Ryan super sweet souls, they are down for anything and totally trusted whatever interesting idea’s I came up with. Which was awesome seeing that space is a bit limited on a 28 foot sailboat and the mind slows down because the wind is easily making it about 25 degrees.
Thanks for going out and having a fun memorable day on the water guys! I can’t wait for your *warm* July wedding at Alderbrook!
Cheers!
Becca
